Handsome No6 roving ambassador, mr Glenn Kitson Esquire was recently invited to the top secret adidas party on Coronoation Street and kindly took some snaps and ate a lot of cake.

Along with the street dancers and members of the Mancunian glitterati, members of the Coronation Street cast (including Craig Charles deejaying funk and rare groove till the early hours), Darth Vader,  and bands, the Whip, Bad lieutenant and Bolton’s finest Badly Drawn Boy played to a select audience of revellers.

All in all a most enjoyable occasion. And the sausages and cake weren’t bad either.

Here’s the science bit-

Combining the tech-inspired design of adidas’ Micropacer with classic brogue styling, adidas Consortium presents this new take on the always interesting Micropacer silhouette. Featuring a makeup composed with premium Espresso leather, the shoes take on a classy upper with black midsoles and tan outsoles, capped off with its own shoe care kit.

These are highly limited and will no doubt become a collectors item, I’ve said it before and ill say it again- DO NOT SLEEP!

We currently have a vintage Star Wars toy exhibition at No6 to celebrate the current collaboration between adidas Originals and Lucas Films. 

The collaboration has an instant appeal to both Star Wars and adidas Originals  fanatics, mixing iconic characters from the famous saga with  iconic kicks from the 3 Stripe brand.

We have refitted the store to give it a clean and clinical interior, loosely themed around the interior of a space ship. The interior is complimented with original memorabilia and collectables toys from our friend Jeff  Ortega a tattooist from New York and one of the true collectors in London (thanks Jeff).

P.S. this Saturday we will launch the last pack of the collection for SS10, this is time is the turn of all the vehicles from AT-AT to X-Wing don’t miss out, see you Saturday.

The highly anticipated collection follows through from the huge success of the SS09 collection.It’s the very first season Jeremy is showing at London Fashion Week so for this occastion adidas has given over their boutique styled space ‘No6 Newburgh St’ for an exclusive Jeremy Scott for ObyO Pop Up Store.
